After Winning the 2009 Summer Universiade, she was also selected for the South Korean senior team in 2010 but unfortunately was placed fourth in the national team trials who were selected for the 2012 Sumer Olympics, where only the top three were selected to participate in the Olympics but she could not.

She again made her debut in the 2013 World Archery Championships after defeating Belarus in a low-scoring final and winning the women’s team recurve title with her teammates Ki Bo-bae and Yun Ok-hee. Later she again took home two gold medals at the 2014 Asian Games, which was held eleven months after the World Archery Championships. In the 2014 Asian Games, she secured a gold medal in the women’s team and women’s individual recurve events. Chang Hye-jin, Jung Dasomi, and Lee Tuk-young were even able to secure South Korea’s fifth consecutive women’s team title in which their opponent was China.

Olympic Championship: 2016

After the second attempt, in 2016 Chang Hye-jin was able to get selected for the Olympics and joined the archer ruling champion Ki Bo-bae and the women’s recurve world number one Choi Mi-sun and went to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics. They were expected to win the gold medal and make their nation’s eighth consecutive Olympic victory.
